Making Polyjuice Potion
This is one for the Harry Potter Fans out there!
This potion will foam and bubble over, but in true wizard style, why not go and hunt for some of the finest ingredients of the potion?!
The Outdoor Bit:
Harry Potter fans will of course know that 2 of the ingredients of Polyjuice Potion are Knotgrass and Fluxweed (obvs!) What you might NOT know is that these grow in abundance absolutely ANYWHERE in the UK (because literally anything can be turned into these imaginary ingredients!)
Forage your Fluxweed and Knotgrass.
The Indoor Bit:
You’ll need:
4 tbsp Bicarbonate of Soda (Bicorn Horn)
4 tbsp green washing up liquid (Stewed Lacewing Flies)
6-8 generous tbsp of white vinegar (Leech Wee)
Biodegradable glitter (shredded Boomslang skin)
A towel and a small bowl or cauldron!
A magic wand (I’d say optional…. but…. this is proper wizard stuff!)
Get yourself a small bowl (or cauldron), pop in your bicarb and washing up liquid and stir to make a paste.
Add your vinegar and stir really fast with a magic wand (you might need a bit more vinegar to make it super frothy!)
Add your foraged Fluxweed, Knotgrass and the Boomslang skin.
Keep stirring as you watch your Polyjuice Potion overflow all over the table, floor and onto you!
You’re welcome! (and….. sorry!)
